House Update

Bryan and I have been busy bees getting the house ready for market. We had 2 stagers come in and tell us how/what to do to prepare. It was very interesting. They began with letting us know that the master bedroom/bath (1st floor) and the 2nd floor bathroom both had to be painted. As many of you know (William and Minda- most as they helped paint) the second floor bathroom was a beautiful orange color called "Caribbean breeze". The first floor master/bath were pink (not my selection) and they felt this was too "feminine" for a master room. So we painted, and while at it decided the paint the main living space on the first floor (living room, dinning room, and kitchen).
They then helped us to move our own furniture into different regions of the House or move things out altogether to give each room a bigger feel. Al thought there is still a lot of sorting and clutter (as seen on couch and bed) we have made a LOT of progress. Check out the pictures below.

Bathroom on second floor that was previously ORANGE. Small cabinet removed and placed down by washer/dryer (not pictured).
Front room (aka Library). My desk has been moved. Bookshelves are from the entertainment center in the living room as is the china cabinet. All of the bookshelves that were previously there have been packed/removed.
Wall that was previously covered with Bookshelves. Kudos to Bryan for getting rid of sooo many books. The last shelf seen here in the picture will be removed.
Master bedroom, now a creamy yellow color. Bookshelf on wall by bathroom door has been removed.
Master bath previously pink.
Living room with entertainment center without bookshelves. China cabinet moved to library and chair relocated.
We still have a ton of work to do. But it is fun to brag a little. Hope you can appreciate the changes. Hanukkah post coming soon.
Love to everyone- Myla, Bryan and Rowen.

Gee - if I stop by on my spring trip to Edisto will there be any place to sleep? It does really make a difference even though I will miss the pink bathroom!
Take care.
