O-Kay and stuff

Rowen is adding words everyday to his vocabulary. He has started saying OK. Which leads to some funny moments. He will ask for something- "More watermelon", then you say- "You want more watermelon" and he says "O-Kay". Like, "if you insist!". Makes me laugh every time.

We went for a walk today and Rowen was very excited by the creek. He kept asking for "More Water". He really enjoyed seeing the fish and I even found a tadpole for us to look at. This was very confusing to Rowen. Is it a fish or a frog.

We went to the DT mall yesterday and Rowen took his first trip on the carousel. He really enjoyed it for about 15 minutes. Then he very pleasantly said- all done MaMa. Amazing. He is quite a ham, by the way. We were having a snack with another family and Rowen kept taking water from his bottle and dribbling it down his shirt. As soon as he know that someone was looking- he kept doing it over and over, laughing. Anything for a laugh! He was soaking wet by the end.

He routinely says 2 words together. New words recently include- bumble bee, right here, watermelon, big truck, yellow bus. He loves his books and now will often "read" in the car to and from work. He will point out the words he knows and talk about what he is seeing. Sometimes, he is taking and we have no idea what he is saying. Which causes him great frustration. As it is clear he KNOWS exactly what he is trying to say.

We are all looking forward to visiting with family in the upcoming weeks.

Let me know when he starts putting 3 words together. We're creating tag lines at work, and the one thing we know for sure -- Use. Three. Words. Then Rowen can help his Aunt Lisa, haha! HUGS!
